I ended up rooting for the Colts despite the specter of a Manning/Manning Super Bowl. My loathing of LaDanian Tomlinson and Philip Rivers outweighed my low grade dislike of Bill Polian and Tony Dungy. I decided to go with the team whose player I liked the most - Jeff Saturday plays for Indy, so I ended up rooting for the Colts. God I feel dirty rooting for the Jets and Indy back to back weeks. :lol:

That's the worst part about being up here. You get the top flight talent for TV anchors and reporters with nary a link or pic in sight.

Maine's only claim to fame in this regard is that Jane Skinner, of Fox News Channel and bride to Sheriff Goodell, was up here for a few years before making the big time.

For the most part he's a pretty good referee, even if he issues his calls like he thinks he's a justice of the Supreme Court. That call against the Chargers was the only serious mistake that I've ever seen him make in the last few years. I like to think that he made that call because he secretly hates the Chargers as much as we do. :D
