I disagree. The double was a ball that Millar should have had, and the two runs in the second scored on shallow fly balls. Other than the home run, I don't think there's been hard hit balls.

what? they've already made randy johnson throw 50 pitches, if they can hold the line for three innings they have a good shot to win this game.

He did allow 3 hits in the first inning. He hasn't been sharp. But if he can settle down Johnson appears human today, and has thrown 51 pitches through 2 innings.

Well, so much for Wake being "clutch" or whatever people wanted to call him.

Poor performance thus far.

I recognize that it looks bleak but there is a long way to go. The runaway thyroid redneck albino ( RTRA) is having control problems. If they can get to the ny bullpen they can win this game.

Thats the problem. They are going to have to leave wakefield in and take a beating cause they don't have anyone who can come in and eat up innings

These Fox broadcasts are horrible with the commercials. Horrible timing every single half-inning.

No chance Petagine gets a start in the biggest game of the year against Randy Johnson.

Olerud, maybe, but he'll be playing tomorrow and this sun seems to be killing the lefties on the Sox today at the plate.

Hey RJ - it is possible for a pitch not to be a strike you shiitbum. STFU!!!

Petagine went home to Venezuela for what they termed a serious family situation. He won't be back this year. Was in the paper today.

That Chicago game is an example of small ball coming back to bite you in the arse.

Back to back singles to start the inning. Guy can't get the bunt down. Fouls off the first attempt, then ends up trying anyhow with 2 strikes. Next batter, double play - inning over.

Did Ozzie the turd Guillen really justify his triple A lineups by saying Cleveland is better than the Yankees and the Red Sox and deserved to get in more?

If Cleveland is better, why play AAA lineups? Why not try to knock them out and improve your own chances?

Guillen is the biggest fraud going as is his .500 team since June. I can't wait until they are knocked out (unless they're playing the MFYs that is).
